HLTINF001 Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures Australian Health Practitioner Education Institute’s Infection Control course has been designed to provide attendees with the skills and knowledge to effectively apply preventative measures in clinical environments to prevent the spread of infectious disease in a range of scenarios. We will provide you with hands on training and give you the required knowledge to successfully implement infection control within your workplace.

Entry Requirements
This course and the associated volume of learning is designed for people who have a current Dermal Therapist or Nurse Qualification and hold a current first aid certificate. Applicants are invited to a pre-enrolment interview, to discuss any enrolment questions, confirm that your course selection is appropriate for your chosen career path and confirm your personal details by providing either a current drivers licence or passport.

- How to identify hazards in the work environment and associated risks
- How to implement effective control measure for identified hazards and associated risks
- How to follow organisation infection control policies and procedures
- Waste minimisation, environmental responsibility and sustainable practice issues.
